The founder of the institute Brahmachari Pranav Chaitanya, has devoted whole of his life for the services of the mankind with a noble cause of making people healthy physically and mentally through Yoga & Meditation, controlled & natural diet and disciplined life style. At the age of 22 years he got qualified as MBA from Calcutta. He could have chosen a brilliant career in management but his dreams were different. He decided to devote his life for services of the mankind. With the fast changing lifestyle of human being various disease like diabetes, Heart Problems, asthma, polio, paralysis, arthritis, gouts, cancer, epilepsy, hyper-tension, hypo-tension, insomnia, neuralgia, obesity, etc have become very common. These diseases cause reduction in life span. Brahmachari Pranav Chaitanya learnt the ancient therapies e.g. yoga and meditation, acupuncture & acupressure, magnetic therapies, pranic-healing, chromopathy, pancha-tattwa, shat-karma and yogic-kriyas etc. and got various diplomas on alternative therapies. He started using these techniques for the betterment of human being since 1991. He is engaged in organizing various Yoga camps, seminars every year in different parts of the country. He does so with the help of contribution and donations from public and other social  organizations. In 1996 he made a public charitable trust named 'AKHANDA YOGA DHAM TRUST' (A.Y.D.T) with a sole aim to serve the mankind. This charitable trust is based on the ancient glory of India and is beyond the barrier of caste, creed and religion. This also depicts the Golden civilization of Aryavat. Several thousands of people are getting peace, good health as well as harmonious life by coming in contact with A.Y.D.T. 

 Looking towards his devotion owner of 'Mangal Ashram' Shri Shri Swami Prem Nath Ji Maharaj the disciple of Shri Shri 108 Swami Mangal Nath ji Maharaj, gave him 4000 sq. yards of land with a few rooms at their Ashram to run an independent centre under the name of 'SHRI MANGAL YOGA & NATURE CURE CENTRE'. ( SMY Nature Cure ) Since 1995 the above centre is running a 5 bedded hospital. Presently the capacity has been increased from 5 to 10 and several patients have got treated from this centre. Apart from this permanent centre at Mangal Ashram, Muni Ki Reti, Rishikesh Distt. Tehri Garhwal , Uttanchal , India , regular camps on nature cure are being organized by the trust in the states of West Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana. Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

The real scientific merits of the activities and its potentialities in the field of yoga and nature cure lie that a common man can adopt them as a way of life. He can learn its curing techniques easily and can manage his health or cure himself without going to a medical professional. It is proposed to train and encourage common men towards a risk free treatment for himself and his family members and to bring down the number of hospital going patients. The institute spreads the health awareness and the education of self-healing suffering and it also helps in upgrading the knowledge, skill and quality of practicing naturopathy. 

In this Trust, a special emphasis is given on basic Sanskrit learning, Message of Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Hatha Yoga Texts (Hathayoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samita), Narada Bhakti Sutras, Kundalini Yoga, Yoga In Modern World, Religions (Christianity, Islam etc.,) concept of Dharma (Epics and Puranas). Human Body is a treasure (Sampada), Nature's Best Gift to this Universe, Nature's Best Creation on this earth. Due to the rapid changing pattern of life styles, importance of our Human Body is getting lost. Instant, speed, quick etc have virtually become the driving force of the society. This eventually causes number of acute and chronic diseases. But, unfortunately, the priority of the modern health care system has become to cure diseases and not to remove disease from roots. Knowingly human race is moving towards a disastrous end. Heart disease, diabetes, hypertension etc are self-created. All these chronic as well as acute diseases can be averted by simply spending some time by doing yoga and nature cure using natural herbs for instant relief. "SMY NATURE CURE" has decided to promote enthusiastically this unique, low cost, easy, simple nature cure system amongst masses. "SMY" Nature Cure is founded in 1996, in the foothills of Himalayas and on the banks of Holy River Ganges by 5 dedicated monks. Since then "SMY" has been providing services to people of all walks of life, (religions, castes no bar). Nearly 7000 patients with acute and chronic diseases have been cured as on date.
